Our commitment at BDR

BDR Business Accountants have a strong commitment to contributing to both our local communities and charities. We believe in the power of giving back to build a better lifestyle for all. BDR have worked with many local community and national charity groups over the years and will continue to do so.

Our fundraising efforts are inspired by wanting to give to those in need and to raise awareness. Last year alone we raised over $40,000 for various charities.

VarietyWe help when others can’t

Variety – the Children’s Charity helps children and their families with financial support for things like wheelchairs, specialist equipment, therapy, and medical supplies, when they can’t afford it, and when government assistance isn’t available.

Relay for lifeWhat is Relay For Life?

Relay For Life is a chance for communities to recognise and celebrate those who have overcome cancer or are undergoing treatment, as well as the people who care for them. Relay also provides an opportunity to celebrate the memory of loved ones lost to cancer.

Sports giving backWhat are we tackling?

On average Outside the Locker room is working with one young adult every 3 days. Support is offered through local sporting clubs for a wide range of challenges including suicide intervention, mental health, drugs, alcohol and domestic violence.

MovemberThe state of men’s health is in crisis.

The Movember Foundation is uniquely placed to address the crisis at a global level. We’re funding ground-breaking programs all over the world, engaging with men where they are, to understand what works best, to help make change happen sooner. Our goals are big, but the impact of doing nothing is bigger. We need to act.
